Hi all

I'm selling my 3th gen iPod Touch so I want to wipe all the data from it in such a way the buyer won't be able to get it back.

How do I do this?

Thanks!

Restore it in iTunes, it will then be empty as it was when you got it.

You can also do it directly on the device. Go into Settings -> General -> Reset -> "Erase All Content and Settings".

I don't believe there's anything the new user could do to get any settings or information out of it once it's been wiped like that. :)
