Wiping a External Hard-Drive using MBP

Hi, I destroyed my previous MBP during the summer but I managed to save the hard drive which a Mac repair shop put in an external case so I could use it as an external hard drive when I bought my new MBP. So I got my new one last week and now I have copied all the items I want to keep to my computer but what do I use now so I can wipe the external hard drive? Thanks!

Use disk utility and do an erase of the drive. Just make sure it's the right one when you select it.
