I have a 3GS I'm thinking about selling before the next iPhone is announced. I jailbroke w/Blackra1n, and would like to unlock (05.11.07 baseband) with Blacksn0w before sale.
Is 'settings-->general-->reset-->erase all content and settings' sufficient to delete any and all important (i.e. potentially private) information from the phone? I'm aware I can do a restore/re-JB to REALLY ensure there's nothing there, but I'm not confident I'd do everything correctly and then end up with an unlockable baseband. I'd rather just wipe the phone, and would like to know what the risk is (if any) just leaving it at that.
TIA,
Tim
