I have recently noticed a significant change in how well my ibook operates. I am currently running 1.33 with 256MB. I have order tiger and a gig of RAM. Should I clean install tiger and just start all over? And if I do what is the best way to save all of my music/files? I have an older iMac that I could dump all my user files via firewire and then retrieve them but I was wondering if there was an easier way.

I think that you are very smart to purchase additional RAM. You should notice improved performance.

When you start up with the Tiger install DVD your should choose Archive & install. That way it will preserve your old preferences. Once everything is working properly then you can discard the Archive.
