O osin macrumors 6502 Jun 8, 2008 309 10 New Jersey Jul 14, 2008 #2 most companies are forcing wireless routers to costumers these days therefore wireless routers get more updates than their wired brothers. for example look at the linksys website: http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Sate...nksys/Common/VisitorWrapper&lid=3302896164B01. they updating their wireless hardware lately, where wired hardware seems to be untouched. because of that you can/should get wireless gigabit router and turn off wireless mode in the setup menu (if you desire). take look at this one: http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Sate...nksys/Common/VisitorWrapper&lid=4086933028B04 you can get it for about $100 on newegg.com or locally at Best Buy for $109...
