I'm replacing my office phone with my iPhone, and want to be able use an over the head headset with a boom mic, not a bluetooth headset.
Does anyone make one of these, are there adapters out there to convert my old one?

My current headset is with a 2.5mm plug is of course not compatible with the iPhone 3.5mm socket. And although adapters which convert the plug sizes are available online, i don't know if they will convert a standard plug to the iphone's multichannel socket.

Help please... anyone? anyone?

thx!

The included iPhone headset does what you need, as does the Etymotic HF2, the Ultimate Ears super.fi 4vi and 5vi. Or you could do what I did. There's also a $10 Belkin iPhone adapter with a mic and clicker built into it so you can just use whatever stereo headphones you please.
