Hi,

Ive searched and I couldnt see any active topics since 2010. Anyway to connect to internet on ipad via a connection by wire? I have bluetooth turned off, WIFI turned off and no access to 3G. Can it be done someway, somehow?

Ive got a laptop, usb cables etc and jailbreak

No, there is no way to do this that I've ever seen. There is a discussion on Apple's Support Community with comments as recent as this year on the topic.
 
AirPort Express = better + AirPort App for setup.
ASUS 330NGE = cheap, 802.11G, not easy to setup, did I mention cheap.

If it were me I'd buy a used Express on Craigslist.
 
I used an airport express all through France and it worked perfectly. Just plugged the wired internet cord in and voila instant wireless internet. Had a vpn account setup and skyped to contact home daily as well.
 
Another vote for an Airport Express. I travel for a living and use one in every hotel that still offers a wired connection. Cheap, easy to pack.
 
Anndddd another vote for the Airport Express. Got the newest one for like 40 bucks on ebay
