Hi Guys,
My wired mighty mouse behaves very strange.
I have a Macbook Pro and a Mac Mini with Snow Leopard. Both work well with a 3rd-party mouse.
With my mighty mouse I can not right-click on the Macbook, but on the Mini it is fine. Yes, the Mouse Preferences are correct, I assigned the secondary button event to the right button and even tried it with the left button.
I found many threads about it and tried to delete the preference file and tried the PlistEditor as well. Bluetooth and touch-sensored related hints are not valid here as it is a normal wired mouse.
The only difference between the two OS is that the Macbook was upgraded from Leopard, and the Mini was installed from scratch.
Again, the strange thing is that the mighty mouse works well on other machines, and this notebook works well with other mouses. How is it possible that two Apple products are not compatible??
Your advise is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Istvan
