Wired USB-A Mouse Cursor Disappears Every Time I Re-Open MacBook M3 Lid

This niggle goes back several MacBook models to the present. Every time I close, then open, the MacBook lid (or set it to sleep) the mouse cursor fails to re-awaken, although the trackpad works. Solution is to either re-start the Macbook or cycle the mouse USB-A. It is a Sabrent mini or travel type.

By contrast, Windows notebooks never seem to have this issue on awakening; certainly not my Dell XPS. Is there any remedy for this irritating Mac behaviour? MacOS: Sequoia 15.5 . If I close the lid for a few seconds, the mouse cursor is unaffected but, if for minutes, it disappears. Thanks in advance.
