Wired vs Wireless keyboard

What keyboard would you prefer with iMac? I like gaming and fast typing. What are the 2 usb ports on sides of Apple wired keyboard for? Can I sync my iPhone via these?

You can sync your phone with the two usb ports.
I don't do any gaming on this mac but i have the wireless keyboard and its decent for fast typing.
 
I prefer the wireless as it's very minimalistic and I can take it with me to the couch when playing music so that I can change the volume, skip songs etc. Also great for moving around the desk and the lack of cables is great. Typing is very fast and Apple did a great job with the keyboard overall.
