Anyone know if 802.11ac is supposed to work in Windows, presuming the newest Airport Extreme with the latest MBA?

I'm running Windows 7, the Broadcom driver for 802.11ac seems to be correctly loaded, but when I hover over the connection it always says Radio Type: 802.11n. For that matter is there an easy way to confirm if I'm connected correctly in OS X? I just assumed it was.

I'm having the same problem on the windows side showing an n connection. On osx it is showing an Ac connection however. I forgot which button ill check tomorrow but if u hold control or option then click the wifi icon on the top right it should give you more detailed info.

EDIT: It is the option key. Hold the option key down then click the wifi icon and it should show the ac connection.
