Does anyone else have this issue?

When I put my MBP to sleep and then wake it up, I have to turn off my Airport card and wait for several minutes or it will not see the world through the router. It connects to the router but, it doesn't get out of it. Sometimes, I even have to reset the router before it will work.

Anyone else experience this with their MBP?

No, I'm relatively sure this isn't normal.

Well, I have had really bad luck with wireless routers and I wonder if mine is the problem but, at the same time, I don't remember my past MBPs doing this either :p

Gotta come up with a way to test them both.

Is there reason to believe it's the computer and not the router?

Just that my previous MBPs did not seem to have this issue and did have this router with them.

If your MBP connects to your local network, I have a reason to believe that its not your router or computer, but your ISP/modem.

when this happens try logging into your router, and see it's status. If you can log into your router then i thinks it's your modem and/or ISP.
