I just started having this issue today. Basically my wireless just dies spontaneous; all connections halt. I can't turn it on in the menu nor the system pref. I have admin so that's not an issue.

The only way I can fix it is restarting the computer. I've done all the usually resets, permission repairs, hardware tests.

Does the console report anything?

Have you noticed specific actions causing it? specific software or even moving the machine?

Just as I'm browsing the internet, it just dies all of a sunden. Like I said, I checked console, but it looks like this could be it. It happened right before I lost my wireless:

I hope it's not the wireless card that died because I hate to lose my computer for a few days so they can replace my card…

Did you check to see if it was under System Profiler?

I'm confused what this would accomplish…

EDIT: I see what you mean; I'll check to see if the card is still in Profiler next time it happens.
 
i would think they would be able to just drop in a new card, maybe take 30 minutes

Well I made an appointment for tonight.

I'm running the extended AHT on it right now. It's getting worse, it's causing kernel panics during boot now. :mad: I think everything is failing now. I'm backing up everything.
