Wireless Charging Expected Speeds?

I just got my 8+ and put a case with a magnet on my case to mount in my car. It’s stil charging, but how do I know what speeds to expect? I just put it in at 36%, when shall it charge to 100%

i would guess a tad faster than using the tiny brick included?

Well, I just ran two tests:

With my case and magnet on: 9% charged in 30 minutes

Without a case: 11% charged in 30 minutes.

I guess wireless charging at 5w is pretty slow. Hopefully Apple will up it to 7.5w soon with that software update. I dont think I will worry about wireless charging in the car as it’s too slow.

I have the Belkin and from what I read you get about 15% every hour which is more than good for me.

Thanks. For overnight charging, I think that would be fine, but any other time would probably not be ideal.
