Hi there,

so last Friday I received my iPhone 8 (love it) and also bought a Belkin Boost Up wireless charging pad (on the website it now says it supports iPhone 8 & X). However, when I put my phone on the charging pad when it’s almost full (say 85%), it charges for a minute or 4, then it stops, and after a moment it recognizes the phone again and continues charging. It keeps doing this, very annoying to hear the charging 'buzz' every time it recognizes the phone again. I don't use a case, and also checked if I aligned the phone properly. The phone and the charging pad itself get quite hot, it could be the charging pad overheating?

If anybody has any ideas/tips, please let me know :)

Regards,

Tom
