I want to get the pop socket wallet for the back of the Apple battery case that has wireless charging. It says it can charge through credit cards but my regular card is metal. Assume that won’t work in the wallet?
Thanks!

The only way to find out, is to try it. It could cause an interference with the signal, it just depends on the contact point.

I see. I guess I’ll give it a try. I feel like it will cover the whole contact point but I guess I don’t really know yet. Off to order it.

It all depends on how strong your chargers signal is and where you place the pop socket. On my wife’s max we put it directly over the iPhone on the back glass and it works great.

I mean, your case is a bit specific. Most people don’t use a metal credit card.

Sure. But it is my regular card and they don’t make it in plastic. Lots of cards are metal now. I’m just assuming it won’t work with those. It’s okay to ask specific questions.

If it does appear to work, I would check it in a few minutes to make sure something is not getting HOT.

The metal credit card could be a big problem.

That’s what I’m worried about.
