G'day,

I've been using an iPhone 11 for about 2.5 years, and using an Energizer charging pad for it. Occasionally I've had to unplug the pad and plug it back in as it would not charge, but that always solved the problem.

A few months ago I couldn't get the charger to work. Thought maybe it had died, so I went and bought a new one - just a "home brand" ANKO one. However, the phone still does not charge wirelessly.

I've been going old school since then, but would love to know why it's suddenly stopped charging via wireless?

Is this a known issue? Phone has been restarted, updated, etc.

Cheers

There was an issue a while back, where wireless charging would quit working (at all) after trying to charge in some make of car - BMW maybe, not really important.

Point is - the problem could be fixed remotely by Apple using their Diagnostic system - doing some sort of a "Reset."

I don't recall if iPhone 11 was involved in that and don't know if it would help - but I'd call or chat in for a remote diagnostic either way. (a) it might help, (b) it might point to a hardware issue, or (c) might not change anything. Nothing to lose though.
