Hi, all
I did a search and found threads about connectivity issues with OS X on the Macbook Pro, but haven't seen one with my particular problem, unless I've overlooked it.
I have a 3 year old MacBook Pro that has always had issues with wireless connectivity while on my Windows XP partition, via Bootcamp. It would show full signal strength, but the connection would drop every 2 minutes or so. Sometimes less frequently, and sometimes I'd get lucky and have a couple of days without losing connectivity, only to have the problem reoccur when I would reboot.
I reformatted about a month ago, reinstalled Bootcamp and XP, and now I cannot get it to connect from Windows, period. It just says "connecting to the wireless network" but never connects. It DOES connect from OS X, no problem.
I took it to my brother's house, because he works with Macs, and even he was stumped. He was finally able to get the wireless running on Windows by doing a winsock reset. Once I was back at my house, though, I had no connection, once again. I did another winsock reset, and had no luck.
Mine is the only computer in the house having this problem, and it is also the only Mac in the house. The router has not been touched. The router is a Dlink.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
