My MacBook Pro shows local wireless networks that are unlocked or locked.
This is helpful, but it would be even more helpful if it showed the signal strength.
I know there is a shareware programme that offers this for a few bucks but can't find it for love nor money. (It was discussed maybe 6-12 mths ago in Macworld). Can anyone provide the name please?
Another matter involving the wireless capabilities of my Macs is very intriguing.
My Macbook Pro 15" often shows no local networks and yet my partner's black Macbook shows up to 8.
Is it normal for different Macs in the same location to be so totally different or does this suggest a problem with my laptop specifically?
