Wireless Extenders for PowerMac G5

I just moved into and apartment building across my university but the wireless network is not good enough on this side of the street. I was wondering if there are any wireless extenders that work with the powermac G5?

Does your Power Mac already have an AirPort Extreme card installed? If so then any wireless extended that works with your university's network will work with the Power Mac. Maybe talk to your university about what sort of extender they recommend. It's generally a good idea to purchase the same brand as the original router.
