I have just recieved a nice refurb early2008 mac pro :)

Only thing is as it's refurb there was no airport built in so I don't know how to connect to the wireless internet.

I don't really want to get the airport card, too far to the nearest apple speacilist and I'm not up to doing it myself.

The broadband modem is a BT Voyager and its to far to connect with cables.

I did have a netgear wg111 but those are not compatible with intel macs. Also have a airport express can i connect this through ethernet cable?

many thanks for any help

Unless you use other computers wirelessly on the network, you should just plug it in to your Internet connection via ethernet. AirPort Express only has one ethernet port, so you'd still need an AirPort card in the Mac Pro if you wanted to go wireless with just that.
