wireless internet keeps disconnecting me

for about a month know almost everyday during the day or night my internet on this computer will act up as in no internet service and no ip address but my other devices that use the same internet network they work without problems I called applecare and the only thing they offered was take it or have it shipped. Any thing I can do at home to fix it before getting repaired?
for the past 2 hours my computer acting up but now it's kinda working this is the story everyday and I did not even install anything new or do anything to my computer.

are you able to take it to an apple store? They can usually give you a better diagnosis when they look at it in person.

Are all your other devices connected via wireless?

Have you noticed any new wireless networks appear in your area? Do you or neighbours use cordless phones? Is so it maybe worth changing the channel of you wireless network. Sometimes some of the above can interfere and cause connection drops.
