hey guys
okay so i have an aebs running a wireless n signal at 5ghz -
i have three computers connecting to it - imac, mac pro, and macbook pro
the imac and macpro have no problems at all
the macbook pro - whenever it connects to my network - pulls the wrong address via dhcp - it should pull a 192.168.1.** ip from my router and work - which the other two computers do perfectly - but the macbook pro is not doin that and pulls a self assigned ip of 169.*.*.*...if i input the IP manually and set the subnet and router IP manually it picks up the signal and works perfectly - problem is that since sometimes as things boot up i get conflicting ips randomly so i wanted to see if anyone had any idea why this is happening - ive gone thru the settings and compared the computers to each other and they are identical
any thoughts?
thank you
