I have just had Virgin Media 50mb installed.
The router is pretty much slap bang in the middle of the house...
iMac is downstairs.
After doing speedtests my windows xp netbook gets 46mb download/4.6mb upload, the iMac however only achieves 2.8mb down but the same upload...
They are sat next to each other.
On the netbook I did have to activate the 'n' in the wifi settings and use TCPOptimizer to up the slider to 50mb in order to get the speed of 46..
Is there anything I need to do on the mac to get the correct speeds?
