I find it strange that Apple still requires us to plug our accessories in via USB cable to synch. Isn't it possible to do this over WiFi now? Just curious if it can even work.

I am sure it would be technically possible. OTOH, how beneficial would it be for the consumer? I personally wouldn't find it too much more convenient, because you'd have to have your iTunes in the same network as your iPhone. To get around that limitation (by utilizing port-forwarding, VPN, etc) would be too cumbersome for most customers. At least that's my take.

I think it could be nice for smaller syncs and updates, but WAY to slow for a complete sync or backup. Especially those of us with the 16GB models.
