Hi,

I recently purchased a wireless keyboard from ebay and it came without the battery cap.

It doesn't seem like I can buy the part anywhere.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do? I'm not very tech savy and am unsure I can build a new one (saw a few suggestions for using screws etc).

If you recently bought it, just take it back and exchange it for a new one.

Sorry! Please disregard - just noticed eBay!

Yeah that sucks, sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately, there is no place to just buy the battery cap unless you can find that on eBay. If the seller advertised the unit as fully functioning and did not mention anything about a missing battery cap then you should be entitled to a refund through eBay Buyer Protection.

Agreed, but the likelihood of getting a result for an item like this is, in my opinion, pretty remote.

By the same token, I would have thought the cap would be on Apple's spare parts list. Possibly worth 'phoning Apple or the local Apple Store to see if they can help.
