I'm on a iMac and I never had problem with my wireless apple keyboard before but when I turned my computer on this morning it couldn't detect my keyboard. I tried restarting and changing the keyboard's batteries and still the bluetooth can't see it, though it has no problem seeing my mouse. When I press the button on the side of the keyboard the little green light lights up for a few seconds, like it does when it's connected and working. I also tried to make my keyboard connect to an iPad and there it worked perfectly, so it's really just my iMac that cannot see it.

My keyboard doesn't even appear on the list anymore though. When I want to add it to the list it searches and searches for new things to connect to and doesn't find my keyboard. I know for a fact it can find other things like a mouse and an ipad though...

You might try pressing and holding the keyboard power button until the green light goes out. Then press it again to turn on the green light, which should be flashing as it looks for a connection to pair with.

I have also had cases where it helped to open Bluetooth Preferences on the machine the keyboard is currently paired with ... and then delete that association. Then try to connect to the new association computer.

Good luck...

It took a few tries but it finally detected the keyboard long enough and made me enter a randomly generated code and then was connected!

Thank you for your help!
