Ok so my long serving wired keyboard stopped working today. Luckily I had a wireless one from the last mac I bought lying around and will have to use this a stopgap (I can't live without the numerical keypad).
There's one thing really annoying me about this damn wireless keyboard. Why can't I control the screen brightness and volume using the F Keys that actually have these printed on the keyboard?
I've been messing about in the general keyboard settings but simply can't get anything to work. All the keys don't function.
Is it just me or is this a big oversight? I've got really used to using the intended F Keys with no modifications and really would like them back.
Anyone know how to get round this?
