Hey guys,

I accidentally dropped my wireless keyboard and two keys broke off. I called the apple store to make an appointment with an "genius", I found my receipt for the keyboard, but I'm 9 days out of my warranty  does anyone know how much they are going to charge me?

Thanks

for keys? not sure....replacement? maybe the same original price.

unless you have applecare with acurrently used computer you can get it warrantied under that if im not mistaken.

Well, they might just do it for you, if they're nice. I've had some keys pop off my old iBook... I had to track down some new ones online and I was able to just pop them back on if it's cheaper. It might even be worth it to upgrade to a nicer keyboard though, I use a laptop but I've heard good things about logitech, a quick mroogle found me this.

Yes, that's exactly what happened when I went to my appointment today. Was a little worried they were going to charge me, all good now.
