I have a 2016 rMB and I started to create a dock set up. I bought a Dell monitor, usb-c dongle, and recently bought a Logitech MX Anywhere 2 mouse. Logitech has an app that you can customize the buttons which is nice.

With that said, would it make sense to go with a Logitech wireless keyboard that also takes advantage of that app? Was thinking of the Logitech K810 (K811 has the mac set up, but 810 has the space grey look and does work with mac anyway). Its been out for a couple of years and was recently discounted on Amazon so I don't want to buy this and have them come out with something new.

I could also just scrap that idea and just go with whatever you recommend.

Thank you!

I use the Logitech K350 with the unifying receiver. It's ergonometric so less concern about getting carpal syndrome. It is a Microsoft keyboard, but remapping the control and option keys takes just a second so it works just like an MacOS keyboard. Some of the other keys, such as audio volume, screen power off, work as well. You aren't limited to just using Mac specific keyboards if you find a Windows keyboard you like.

When my Microsoft keyboard failed I realized that if I went with a Logitech keyboard then I could eliminate another device dongle by using the Logitech receiver for both keyboard and mouse.

For some reason control center doesn't see it, but it doesn't see my Performance MX mouse either for some reason. This was reported as as issue years ago, but unsure about whether it has been fixed. I just tried to contact Logitech support, but my email was rejected with an website error that the URL doesn't exist.
