Does it has the same key's system that original Magic Keyboard?

Or maybe it will has the scissors 2 system? :(

The side profile picture on the UK apple store looks like the keys are quite raised, unlike the new scissor keys on the MacBook so hopefully they will be like the original Magic Keyboard.

Either way, full size wireless at last ! I'll be getting one ASAP.

unlike the new scissor keys on the MacBook

The MacBook and all new MacBook Pro's (2016 & 2017) have Butterfly key switches.

Only the Magic Keyboard (normal and now extended) have the Scissors (which is great - I LOVE the Magic KB)

Ow, I'm sorry. It's too many systems for a simple thing. I'm sorry y my mismatch.

I do love the Magic KB too, and almost hate my Macbook's keyboard. I think that MacBook has the first generation of butterfly, right?

I got it today - I agree, touch bar wouldve been sweet, but cmon - this is a great keyboard! The buttons feel a LITTLE bit different from the original wired version, but it's not the butterfly mechanism. Maybe they just tweaked the old one a tiny bit. Definitely great to type on and hey - no cord - magic ;) ! Now if only all other devices would be wireless too ;)

what I like about it is the full sized top button row!

My magic keyboard fingers are supremely jealous of those full-size arrow keys.

Not sure I can go back to having a number pad though. I'm just too used to having a mouse and trackpad in close to the keyboard at this point.

Very happy they released this though.

Got mine today too, haven’t had a chance to go back to my office and play with yet, been tied up in meetings all day. Cool to see an actual picture of someone receiving theirs though.

I got the Matias Aluminum Keyboard in Space Grey...and I LOVE IT! Battery lasts for a YEAR...and it matches so well with my Space Grey MBP 2016. It charges with a micro-USB...and the key action takes a little getting used to...but I really love the setup. It also can quick swap between devices. It's paired with my MBP, my iPad Pro and my iPhone 7 Plus. Simply hit the button and it pairs with that device. Really useful when swapping between MBP and iPad.

I have this keyboard as well, but it's taken me a while to get used to it. I was waiting so long for a quality 10-key wireless keyboard, finally Apple has released their own version, which is the best solution for me. Hopefully, one with newer butterfly keys similar to 2016 MBP and Touch Bar will come soon enough...

While i do like the keys on the Magic keyboard, it can be quite jarring to switch from Macbook to desktop keyboards so I would like to see this happen

Would you mind sharing some pictures of this? This is the only photo I've seen.

I am sorry if this might seem rude, but do a quick google search, there are plenty of pictures and videos of it online. It looks absolutely great, to be fair.

I am still not sure if I am going to keep the Magic Keyboard with numpad or if I should sell it and get the Matias one instead. The two main selling points would be the lit keys and the possibility to switch between up to four different devices. The only things the Apple keyboard has going for it really is the fact that I already own it and that it is actually quite nice to type on (plus, it is pretty good looking ;) ).

I have the original magic Keyboard. Ordered a refurbished Magic Keyboard 2 yesterday for $60. Will the key mechanism be the same?

I'm ordering in few hours my new iMac and my choice is for the magic keyboard with numpad; somebody advices me to choose the original one but for me the bumped is quite comfortable and typing numbers above the letters gets me annoyed. Anyway reading what stated above it seems the keyboard with numpad is different from the one without, is it correct?

Here's a link to a YouTube video. If you are interested. Until they post there photo. I'm thinking about maybe getting one.

Got mine today...

1. I found when I got it home that it's slightly bent. Very slight banana shape(!). I'll take it back to the store tomorrow and get it replaced. Enough so that if you push down on one corner the opposite corner rises of the desk.

2. Apart from that it looks and feels great. Keys have less travel than the old Wired version - but they are not noisy like on the new MBPs.

3. It's 'flatter' than the old Wired version- not so much angle. I don't find that a problem though

It's slightly mushier than the original Magic keyboard.

Since there seems to be huge confusion, to clarify, I'm not talking about the pre-2015 keyboards, which didn't carry the 'Magic' name. The original Magic keyboard appeared in 2015.
