Which is better? Which one should I decide on ?

Can you still use your phone if you charge your phone wirelessly ?

The better one is the one that fits your lifestyle and use case scenarios.
Many people use both, depending on the situation.
Also, many people refrain from wireless…in the belief it degrades battery performance quicker than wired charging.
Heat is a batteries worst enemy, and wireless does create more heat than wired…but…with a quality wireless charger, it’s unlikely to notice a difference in the short term…1-2 years.
Ive only used wireless since it’s introduction and my battery health is within 1-2% of friends/family that only use wired…and that’s comparing to very similar phone usage.

I've used wireless chargers and they're ok I guess. Quite convenient but usually a slower charge. Specifically the round disc like chargers, I've had issues where I'd bump the phone or nightstand in the middle of the night and it stopped charging. I guess I'm more old school in that I prefer wired chargers. I bought an Anker GaN charger and am really liking it. And usually when you're charging wirelessly, you can't use your phone.

That’s not true. I charge my iPhone wirelessly on a Belkin 3 in 1 charger and I can still use my phone. I’ve used other wireless chargers before and also been able to use my phone. I also have an Anker wireless power bank for on the go use and that also allows me to use my phone.

I much prefer wired charging. Why? It's faster. I'm not trying to spend unnecessary time during the day with my phone sitting on a wireless charger when faster options exist.

Within 1-2% negative degradation compared to family friends that use wired. 👍🏼
