I'm thnking of getting a wireles mouse for my new AL iMac. Other than the Apple one which I dont like cuz its not rechargeable, any suggestions. I would prefer a white one or one that matches the iMac somewhat.

Thanks

Rechargable AA batteries FTW!

I have a wireless mouse as well the circular mouse (G4) and new mouse. The wireless one works up untill it decides to act up on me....the OG mouse was never liked by many, unless I'm the only one. So I opted to buying a USB cabled mouse that would work on my mac. Gladly to say that I bought a good investment.
I have heard that many people have issues with the wireless mouse, my advice get a wired mouse first before you end up pulling your hair, believe people WILL stare at your "horse shoe" hair pulling.......

I'm going to get a Logitech MX Revolution. Awesome mouse but probably a bit too so for most people.

Your rechargeable mouse wont' charge this fast

Here's what I've been using in my cd player for about 2 years now...and the pair i've been using has been through sooo many charges and still work great and last for days with hours of use each day. They charge in 15 minutes and last longer than those energizer e squared batteries.

love the mightmouse blue tooth. We have one in the office, just keep it clean because the little ball will get jammed up. A pushpin works good to unclog around the edges if need be. Those 15 min batteries are great! I use normal rechargables in the office.

However... at home... I vote for the mx revolution. I LOVE this mouse and I think it would go nicely with the black border on the imac. It may have more options then most people need, but it is simply fantastic. If you go through amazong or ebay or even like tiger direct or something, you can find one for under 60 bucks as opposed to the normal 99.

However... if oyu have smaller hands, it's younger brother the "vx" revolution is actually quite awesome as well.

Check out the logitech site. I'd recommend over half of their mice. Alllll great. I even had the small silver one on their page as well for my macbook pro at one point. It was nice :)

I use a Microsoft bluetooth mouse.

There are plenty of 3rd party programs out there to control the mapping on buttons on the mouse.

Looked at the link, and this Editors' note, 9/25/07: RadioShack will be discontinuing this item, but we've seen a charger/battery line from Rayovac that looks promising. If you can report positively or negatively on Rayovac or any similar item,
please let us know.
caught my eye....

I have been using Rayovac batteries for a long time and only get rid of 'em when they corrode, and that takes a looooooooong time to happen!

i have an VX Revolution and i absolutely love it. You wont if you have large hands, but then the MX is for you!

neither are white, but amazing mice.

i wouldent worry about recharging, the VX runs on one AA, and i have yet to replace it (almost 2 months of heavy usage, still 2/3 bars)
