Wireless Mighty Mouse & MacBook

I currently use a Wireless MM with my Mac Mini, and it works awesomely.
I recently got a Macbook and I have a hard time using the Mighty Mouse with it. I have installed it and is recognized by the bluetooth, but most times it takes minutes until it works and other times it does not work at all.
Are there any steps I'm missing. Does anyone have any links with instructions or which is the right way to use the MM with my Macbook.

Do you have it turned on before your computer boots? If not, I finally figured out that I have to click it a bunch of times and move it around before it recognizes. The other option is to turn bluetooth off and then on again (I have it in my bar at the top of the screen to make this easy).
