I recently purchased a MacBook and a Wireless Mighty Mouse to go with it. I get all its functionality on the Mac OS but when I switch to my Windows XP partition I don't even get vertical scolling with the Mighty Mouse's scroll ball. I tried activating the mouse wheel under the device manager however there is no advanced options tab as it says in the help that "if your mouse does not have a mouse wheel the Advanced Options Tab may not appear".

One other thing. Bluetooth doesn't seem to be able to find the mighty mouse in Windows however I can still use left click, right click and full pointer functionality.

I could really use some help as to getting the mighty mouse scroll ball to at least scroll vertically on windows xp

Thanks.

I'm going to give this a bump if only to say I'ma greed totally with you on this - the lack of scroll is frustrating, the lack of other features I can totally live without in windows, but the scroll I need :)

Hey Lastline

I was searching through the forums and the only thing I found was this. Not many solutions. I agree that we need a fix. It seems we're not the only one with problems and it has to do with the latest version of bootcamp. However installing bootcamp and windows is not somethin I want to do.

If you check the thread there was one guy that said he uninstalled his HID drivers and then installed his apple drivers CD and he got it to work, however, another guy did the same thing and he couldn't use his mouse at all anymore. I think what we need is a driver or a pactch fix windows based. And we won't see this from Apple.

Keep your fingers crossed. Here's the link.
