Hi,
I have this recent problem with the wireless might mouse, it won't able to scroll up. It will scroll down but not up. I can't find any solution, could anyone know how to solve this problem. Thanks

Most likely there is junk where the scroll ball is held in place. Get a piece of paper and lay it on a flat surface. Flip the mouse upside down, press hard on the scroll ball, and rotate the mouse. This is so that the junk falls down and sits on the paper. You might not get much, but it will help you out.

If this and all other solutions fail, then it might be some sort of hardware failure.

Hope this helps.

Same thing happens sometimes on my BlackBerry, just roll it around (as the above says, upside down) until it clears.

Thanks for you answer... but the problem still persist.

i have the same problem. the upside down rolling doesn't work for me either.

Have you tried fresh batteries? Mine can act up sometimes if my batteries are worn more than a couple weeks, because I use crappy old Kodak rechargeables. They're junk, about eight years old now, but they make a mouse work and its greener than throwing away.

mighty mouse sucks :(
at least the scrolling part does. i shoulda got another mouse

Can you feel like there is some grit in there or is the rolling smooth?
Check out CrackBerry forums for similar problems with the Pearl on their phones.

please search! simply dampen a cloth and rub the ball in all directions.

the Mighty Mouse is great as it has a 360 degree scrolling mechanism. show me another bluetooth mouse with a scroll ball. of course use another mouse if you dont like the single shell idea or it feels uncomfortable but the mouse isnt as bad as whingers make it seem on the internets.

You could try what I did.

Carefully placed the mighty mouse in the retired tech cupboard, then purchased a cheap scroll wheel mouse that works just great.

I also discovered the other day that tilting the wheel side to side does my horizontal scrolling for me.

I've had the same problem with the not-so-mighty mouse.

Sometimes it will scroll up, but not down, other times the opposite. Mine is only less than a month old, same as my laptop, and I never touch it with "food hands" or anything like that. It's really annoying.

I do as others have suggested, turn it upside down and roll the heck out of it.. usually works.. for a few days.

I like the looks of that Kensington.. can you provide a link ? :D

I ditto all four statements!

Thanx, dubhe... :)

Will have to read the reviews..maccam says it appears no better than the crappy not-so-mighty mouse ??? Oh nooooooo-oo--oo-oooo. Dang.

It appears, or it is?
Well I have owned both, the MM for six months and the SlimBlade for about the same (and counting). The SlimBlade is far superior (IMO).

I'll have you know that my Mighty-Mouse is 6 months old AND NO PROBLEMS.

Can't say for the SlimBlade, I just go by reviews.
