Is it possible for a Mighty Mouse to lose it's settings in an xray or metal detector?
I have a wireless MM that I use with my MacBook Pro. I bring it wherever I take my MBP. I think, by default, they're supposed to open the 'Dashboard' upon clicking the scroll-ball, and open 'Exposé' upon clicking either of the buttons on the side. Regardless of whether that's by default; last week, I manually configured the mouse to open the Dashboard and Exposé like so, just to make sure.
Since I got it, it has refused to maintain these button assignments, and it seems to lose them, possibly, whenever I go to work -- a federal bank, where all of my items are sent through an xray, and metal detector.
As long as I don't go to work, the settings stick. If I go to work, they're gone.
Any ideas?
