Wireless MM

So I have a wireless MM that I bought shortly after it was released and it has gray buttons on the side like this:

The right-click doesn't work very well, so I stopped using it.


When I bought my iMac, though, it came with the wired MM that has white buttons on the side. It works flawlessly in every way. Do the newer wireless MM have white buttons, and if so, is this evidence that they work better?

My first wired Mighty Mouse had grey sides, the second one, no. I expect that the wirelss MM is not selling as quickly as thought, so there are so many in the pipeline that they are still grey.

Here's my take on it: all of Apple's mice suck. I'm sorry, but Apple just doesn't seem to be able to get their act together and make a good mouse. They seem to be focusing more on the form than the function. Sure, the Mighty Mouse may have a beautiful design, but how well does it function.

Try using a Mighty Mouse while playing a game. It's horrible.

I don't play games on my Mac, but I do use the wired MM while designing and really, really like it.

The only gripe that I have about my Mighty Mouse in gaming is using the Physics Gun (not Zero-Point Energy Field Manipulator) in Gmod to get ragdolls/objects to stay suspended where I want them.

Other than that, it's beautiful.

My real concern is whether the newer ones work better. Like I said in my initial post, my newer wired one works perfectly, while my older wireless one has never worked properly in the right-click department.
