I'm looking at upgrading my network from CAT5 to wireless.

Anyone have an opinion on the pros and cons of getting a separate modem and wireless router or just getting a single wireless modem/router.

I was thinking of something like the Belkin N1
http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=299342

For now it's just to connect 3 macs (2 desktops and a macbook - all with wireless cards in) to each other and the internet.

At some point in the (near) future I'd like to stream my iTunes to a hi-fi set up in the living room.

comments/advice welcome!

Thanks

Thanks for that link - very interesting read but not really any info on wireless modem/routers.

Anybody else have an opinion as to any disadvantages with a modem/router rathe than a separate modem and router? (bump)
