Wireless Mouse Doesn't Move, Only Clicks

So as the title states my mouse will only provide clicks. The batteries were bad so I replaced them. Same with my keyboard. I repaired both to the computer. Keyboard is fine but I find it weird how the mouse is acting. The red "active" light turns on when it's cover is first slid back and when it's auto-pairing with the computer. Otherwise it doesn't turn on. Any ideas?

Not sure what the warranty is for the mouse. I'll have to check into that. Don't think the sensor is dirty but hey.. you never know.
