So I want to make sure that this works before buying the relevant equipment.

I have an Airport Extreme with built in Hard drive. I want to burn my CDs as lossless files and put them on the Extreme's Hard Drive.

Then I want to use iTunes on my MacBook Air to play the music... through an Airport Extreme (to a DAC and then to my fancy stereo).

Any reason this wouldn't work? How would I access the music on the Extreme's hard drive through iTunes?

Any thoughts appreciated.
