Wireless N for Core Duo Macbook

My girlfriend's macbook is a Core Duo model without 802.11 support. Can i buy a new car to install? I have taken apart a macbook before so i feel confident taking apart her computer. Would a wirless N card from a black macbook (C2D) be swappable?

Looks like i will need to find a Mac Pro aireport card. The new N cards in macbooks have 3 antennas but the MacPro's have 2.

what you want to do would void her apple care, and believe me if you sent the laptop to apple they would know.

you need an airport card from an early macbook pro , with the two antenna . or fit a n card from a later macbook and the extra wiring and screen side bracket
i looked into this before i noticed my macbook core duo had n wireless from the factory
