Just picked up a G3 233 Rev B., for $100 for my kids (came with nice printer and software, figured it was a good deal), is there any hope of finding a USB wireless ethernet adapter for it so I can get them on the network?

I figure my best option is getting an Airport Express, but I don't have an Airport Base Station (have Netgear Wireless router, are they compatible with an Airport Express?)

Just wanted to know if there was a cheaper solution for the USB port option. If not, and an Airport Express will work with my router then I may get one, then just plug it into the iMac via RJ45.

Thanks!

I know a guy who has a USB wireless adaptor on his older PowerBook. It works okay but is a little buggy and was a pain to set up. There's not much choice if you don't have the ability to use an AirPort card. The ethernet wireless bridges might work a little easier but they're more than twice the price of the USB adaptor.

You can't use AirPort express as a wireless bridge for your iMac.
