after not be able to get my epson all in 1 to print from a print server using my mbp, i bought a brother laser with built in wireless. works great and was easy as he** to setup. pop in the cd and a few clicks and the mac did the rest. that's how it's supposed to work!!!

I was JUST thinking about getting one of these. I have a Mac Mini upstairs in my house, and sometimes i do work on it. I hate having to get my flash transfer the files downstairs and do this and that and this and that with all that hassle. If i were to get one of these, could i place it upstairs and only have the power cable to plug in??

they (brother) recommend that the printer be placed as close to the router as possible for obvious reasons. mine is in the next room about 10 feet from my router and works very well. prints very fast!! why more printers don't have wireless is beyond me.
