Hello

My girlfriend has windoze XP. She's attached to a wireless network. The connection always drops, yet the signal strength is good. Here's the deal. She'll get connected to her wireless router, but we live in Montreal and there are alot of other wireless networks where we live, and then a few minutes later her computer will discover a few new wireless networks and boot her from her network.

Anyone know how this can be fixed?

I'm not in front of a pc, so this may be a little off.

1. Go your network connections
2. Right-click on the wireless connection and select 'view wireless connections'
3. Somewhere on the left it should say 'chage order of wireless' or something.
4. Make sure the connection you want to use is at the top of the list.

thanks for the tip... windoze is foreign to me

her wireless network is at the top of the list... but she still gets disconnected... its usually every 2-3 minutes it will find more networks and disconnect her

any other ideas?
