Hi there,

Ever since I updated to OS X 10.5.8, I've been having some problems with my wireless. Wireless stays connected and works for about 1-1.5 days before I need to turn Airport Off and On to use the internet. At this point, it's imminent that Airport will stay connected to my network but I won't be able to actually use the internet.. (does that make sense?) As in, I get full signal but my browsers (both safari and firefox, latest versions) or Skype or MSN or anything is able to connect to the internet.

None of the settings under Airport preferences/advanced have changed.

I need to get my landlords to reset the router every time this occurs which is a pain for both them and me. Anyways. I tried to install the new 10.5.8 Airport fix but it did not work as I have a Unibody Macbook.

Any help will very much be appreciated.

John

Update/Correction
- Just updated to Safari 4.0.3
- Downgraded Firefox to 3.0.13

Not sure if the problem is only browser-related though. When wireless stops working (although connected with full signal), other apps (Skype, MSN) also stops working.
