Why don't we already have this? I think this could be beautifully implemented.

well since we have spelling settled maybe we should work on grammar

Neither are important in this forum - I was just pointing out either spelling is appropriate - however pointing out peoples spelling or grammar errors is against the board rules:

"Corrections. There is no need to point out another poster's spelling or grammatical errors unless you think it is causing confusion. Remember that not all members are native English speakers. Communication, not correctness, is our goal."

Back on topic - I wish Apple would at minimum make my .mac account sync up wirelessly for my contacts on the phone. That would be my +1 request. I don't always sync my phone (maybe once a week).

touché. but whats wrong with syncing only once a week. i mean i rarely sync unless i have something i changed, and not much changes in a week, at least with regards to contacts. like you spoke of

I have a huge contact list - I add to it almost daily, between restaurants, notes or new contacts for work I add quite a few. My partner syncs his phone maybe once a month but adds contacts to his phone daily as well. Same for calendar events, if you use it for scheduling it almost requires you to sync daily.

yeah i guess. i rarely add contacts. i assume that being a student i have less contacts to add than a business person etc.

I sync my calendar and contacts several times a day, wireless syncing is one of my huge WANTS.

Frankly it's the infrequency with which I update my contacts that makes me desperate for wireless syncing. It feels like overkill to have to open itunes and dig out an ipod-connector cable just to sync across one contact or bookmark.

You know what'd solve all this neatly? .Mac integration on the iPhone.
