wireless usb adaptor

Hi

Am tryng to install usb3.0 dual band wireless usb adaptr on minimac wirh Big sur
Have followed the instructions to install driver found on this forum as below but get broken pipe error 32 which stops install.
any ideas gratefully received.

Thanks for link.

I downloaded and ran install but it failed saying installer encountered an error that caused it to fail

dont know if it made a log anywhere.
