Wireless video capture device

Is it possible to capture video/audio from tivo/vcr/dvd player in one location of the house and stream the AV to your mac over a wifi network? Elgato used to sell homerun but I can't seem to find it now to check if it did have that function. the problem is that all my av equipment is away from my computer, so using a conventional device such as the canopus ADVC110, would not be possible without a 10 meter firewire cable!
