Wirelessly Connect to iPhone's iPod Through Mac?

I've got some nice desktop speakers which I hardly use anymore. They're perfect as a makeshift stereo for the living room in my apartment by simply plugging my iPhone into them while I'm home.

But what I'd really love to be able to do is wirelessly change songs from across the room while I'm on my MacBook. Basically the reverse of what the Remote application does.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated!

there is something available called the fing-longer. Currently it's only available from Planet Express and their delivery is a bit shifty.
